Growth that starts with people.
We're a grassroots foundation from Bajali, Assam. We put books in the hands of brick-kiln children, healthier meals on school plates and relief in flooded villages, and we're building NearBlood to get blood to patients faster.
Since 2022, Jan Briddhi Foundation has worked where help is hardest to reach: brick-kiln camps, flood-hit villages and rural schools. And we measure every programme, year by year.
Four programmes. One belief: change that keeps growing.
Each programme reports its own results. Choose one to see the detail.

Green Plate Initiative
Healthier, sustainable meals in schools through meal replacement and learning.

Puhor
Books, Floating Libraries and free JNVST and NMMSE coaching.

Disaster Relief
Food, water and hygiene kits when floods hit Bajali and Barpeta.

NearBlood
A network connecting blood donation NGOs with people in need.
Results we can stand behind.
Totals since we began. We never add up student numbers across years, because the same students may take part again.
An implementation partner you can audit.
We plan CSR projects with clear targets, run them on the ground in Assam and report every year on what was achieved, with field evidence your team can verify.

Small changes in our meals, meaningful steps towards a sustainable future.
Through meal replacement, student learning and school partnerships, Green Plate makes healthier, more sustainable food choices part of everyday school life, respecting local food traditions.
Since 2024.

We poor people, how can we regain our property, as we don’t have any other source?
Residents of Medhikuchi village, Bajali, to Times of Northeast, June 2022
That month we delivered rations and sanitary items to 750+ flood-affected families in Bajali, and in 2023 reached 200+ more across six villages.

Books that travel with the children who need them most.
Children of migrant brick-kiln workers move every season, and their learning breaks with every move. Puhor brings books and Floating Libraries to where they are, and runs free JNVST and NMMSE coaching every year.
Six kiln centres
Books reach children at six brick-kiln centres in Bajali.
First Floating Libraries
Three libraries with Pratham Books.
Mandia
Five libraries at Mandia Migration Centre.
Chenga & Barpeta
Two libraries at each centre.
12 libraries running
Every Floating Library is still in use.
When someone needs blood, help should be one tap away.
NearBlood began as our volunteer Free Floating Blood Bank. Now it connects blood donation NGOs, clubs and organisations, so a request reaches the people who can respond fastest.
