Free Coaching for NTSE & NMMSE

Jan Briddhi Foundation is a non-governmental organization based in Bajali District, Assam, that is committed to empowering children and youth through education. One of our key initiatives is to provide free coaching for the National Talent Search Examination (NTSE) and National Means-cum-Merit Scholarship Examination (NMMSE) to deserving students in our community.
The NTSE is a highly competitive scholarship examination that is conducted by the National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) for students studying in Class 10. The objective of this exam is to identify and recognize students with exceptional academic talent and provide them with financial assistance to pursue higher education. The exam is conducted in two stages, with Stage 1 being a state-level examination and Stage 2 being a national-level examination.
The NMMSE, on the other hand, is a centrally-funded scholarship program that aims to provide financial assistance to economically disadvantaged students in the country. The exam is conducted by the NCERT for students studying in Class 8, and the scholarship is awarded based on merit-cum-means criteria.

Free Education for the Children of Brick Industry Labour

Jan Briddhi Foundation is a non-governmental organization dedicated to improving the lives of children and youth in our community. One of our key initiatives is to provide study materials such as books, notebooks, pencils, and blackboards to children of brick industry laborers in Barpeta and Bajali districts of Assam.
Many children of brick industry laborers are deprived of basic education due to their parents' work conditions. We believe that every child has the right to education, regardless of their background or circumstances. By providing study materials to these children, we hope to empower them to continue their education and build a brighter future for themselves and their families.
In addition to providing study materials to children of brick industry laborers, Jan Briddhi Foundation is also committed to raising awareness about the importance of education among these families. We organize awareness camps in Barpeta and Bajali districts of Assam to educate parents and children about the value of education and its long-term benefits. Many families in the brick industry are unaware of the value of education and may prioritize immediate financial needs over their children's education. By providing them with information about the positive impact of education on their children's future, we hope to encourage them to prioritize their children's education and provide them with necessary support. Our awareness camps have helped create a positive impact on the lives of these families, and we aim to expand our reach to more families in the future. At Jan Briddhi Foundation, we believe that education is the key to breaking the cycle of poverty, and we are committed to providing children of brick industry laborers with the tools and resources they need to build a better future for themselves and their families.
Our initiative has already reached 33 centers and around 1371 children in the year 2022-23, and we aim to expand our reach to more centers and children in the future.
