Privacy policy
Last updated 20 October 2026.
Jan Briddhi Foundation ("we") respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect through janbriddhi.org.in and how we use it.
What we collect
- Donations: the amount and programme, and unless you give anonymously your name and email, optionally your phone, and for 80G receipts your PAN and address. Payments are processed by CCAvenue (Infibeam Avenues Ltd); we never see or store card or bank details.
- Forms: the details you enter in contact, CSR, school and volunteer forms.
- Analytics: Google Analytics records anonymous usage data such as pages visited and device type, to improve the site.
How we use it
To process donations and issue receipts, reply to enquiries, coordinate volunteers, and meet legal and tax requirements. We do not sell or rent your data.
Donation emails
If you give an email address, we send your receipt to it. If you start a donation but do not complete the payment, we send one reminder email with a link to finish it. We never send more than one reminder for a donation, and none if you complete a donation in the meantime.
How long we keep it
Completed donation records are kept for as long as tax law requires. Records of donations that were started but not paid are deleted after 12 months. Enquiries and volunteer details are kept for up to three years unless you ask us to delete them.
Your rights
Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can ask to access, correct or delete your personal data. Write to contact@janbriddhi.org.in.
