NearBlood: blood donation organisations, connected
Finding blood in an emergency still depends on phone calls and luck. NearBlood brings NGOs, clubs and organisations working in blood donation onto one platform, so a request reaches the people who can respond fastest.
From a volunteer blood bank to a platform.
NearBlood began as Jan Briddhi Foundation's Free Floating Blood Bank. Volunteer donors across Guwahati, Nalbari, Barpeta, Pathsala and Bongaigaon gave blood on demand to patients in need. We saw how much faster help arrives when the right organisations are connected, and built NearBlood to do that at scale.

Three steps from request to donor.
Organisations join
NGOs, clubs and organisations working in blood donation register and set up their profile. Open now.
Requests come in
People in need post a request with blood group, location and urgency. Opens once onboarding is complete.
The nearest partners respond
Partner organisations close to the patient see the request and arrange donors.
Built for the people already doing the work.
Blood donation NGOs and clubs
Reach patients in your area without relying on scattered WhatsApp groups.
People who need blood
One place to ask, instead of calling dozens of contacts.
Early partners
Organisations that join now help shape how NearBlood works in their region.
