What students explored
The session covered informed food choices, nutrition, and the social and environmental impact of food systems. Students discussed what they eat, how it is produced, and its effects on health, animals and the planet.
What came next
The response shaped our next steps: taking food system learning to more rural schools, student-led clubs, multilingual content, and a meal replacement programme. That became the Green Plate Initiative.
